👉Ingredients

🔹️ Main Ingredients:

1 lb (450 g) bulk pork sausage

3 tsp minced garlic

2 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided

1 ⅓ cups milk

3 whole eggs

¾ cups biscuit/baking mix

¾ tsp rubbed sage

¼ tsp pepper


👉Instructions

▶️ Prepare the Sausage Base:
✅️ Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink.
✅️ Add garlic; cook 1 more minute. Drain excess fat.
✅️ Stir in 2 cups of shredded cheese. Transfer mixture to a greased 9-inch deep-dish pie plate.

▶️ Make the Egg Mixture:
✅️ In a bowl, combine milk, eggs, biscuit mix, sage, and pepper.
✅️ Pour over the sausage and cheese in the pie plate.

▶️ Bake the Pie:
✅️ Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
✅️ Sprinkle with the remaining ½ cup cheese; bake 1–2 minutes longer until melted.
✅️ Let the pie stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
