βœ… 1 large head of broccoli, chopped into small florets
βœ… 1 small onion, diced
βœ… 2 cloves garlic, minced
βœ… 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
βœ… 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

βœ… 2 tbsp butter
βœ… 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (for thickening)

➑️ Sauté the aromatics:
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft (about 4 minutes). Add garlic and cook 30 seconds more.
