🍽️ Ingredients
◾️ 2 lbs ground beef
◾️ 1 cup breadcrumbs
◾️ 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
◾️ 1/4 cup milk
◾️ 2 large eggs
◾️ 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
◾️ 1 tsp salt
◾️ 1/2 tsp black pepper
◾️ 2 large onions, thinly sliced
◾️ 2 tbsp butter
◾️ 1 cup beef broth
◾️ 8 slices Swiss cheese
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Mix the Meatloaf
✅️ In a large bowl, combine: beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, eggs, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
✅️ Mix until well combined.
2️⃣ Shape & Place
▶️ Form into a loaf and place directly into your crockpot.
3️⃣ Caramelize the Onions
▶️ In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
▶️ Add sliced onions and cook 20–25 min, stirring occasionally until golden.
4️⃣ Deglaze & Top
▶️ Pour in beef broth, simmer until mostly absorbed.
▶️ Pour onion mixture over meatloaf in the crockpot.
5️⃣ Slow Cook
👉 Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours until fully cooked.
6️⃣ Add the Cheese
👉 About 10 min before serving, top with Swiss cheese slices.
👉 Cover briefly to help cheese melt faster.
7️⃣ Serve & Enjoy
👉 Slice and serve warm with extra onions on top.
