▶️ Sauté 3–4 minutes until slightly caramelized.
▶️ Add minced garlic and cook 1 more minute.
◾️ ✅️ Step 3: Deglaze the Pan

◾️ ✅️ Step 4: Slow Cook the Roast
🔹 Option A: Slow Cooker
▶️ Transfer roast and vegetables to the slow cooker.
▶️ Pour liquid and herbs on top.

🔹 Option B: Dutch Oven (Oven)

▶️ Cover and cook in a 325°F (160°C) oven for 3–4 hours until meat is falling apart.
◾️ ✅️ Step 5: Serve
▶️ Remove rosemary and thyme sprigs.
▶️ Slice or shred the roast, serve with carrots and potatoes.
▶️ Spoon pan juices over the top for maximum flavor.
🔹 Tips for the Perfect Pot Roast:
✅️ Add a splash of balsamic vinegar or a couple of bay leaves for extra flavor.
✅️ For thicker gravy, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with cold water and stir into juices 30 minutes before the end.
✅️ Let the roast rest 10 minutes before serving — juices redistribute for tender meat.
✅️ Serve with crusty bread to soak up all the delicious sauce.
